Today i checkeed the oil level and it was below the fill mark. I just filled it to full 2 weeks ago. There isnt oil anywhere under the car or not that much. None in my garage floor or in my parking space at work or school. Also it doesnt burn any oil at all. What the hell is going on with the oil?
Check it first thing ( before you start it) in the morning, make sure its level. Or at least at the same angle as when you first filled it...Hope this helps...
Valve cover gasket. If it leaks the oil just falls onto the headers/manifolds and burns up leaving little evidence. An easy and cheap fix, 4 bolts on each side and couple new gaskets and see if that fixes it.
Just because you can't see blue smoke coming out of the exhaust doesn't mean your engine isn't burning oil. If you're certain there are no significant leaks, the next thing to do is run a wet and dry compression check, which will tell you the condition of your rings. The oil could also be going past your valve guides, but that usually shows up as a blue puff of smoke at start up. If it turns out that oil consumption is taking place, it can usually be reduced somewhat by using single-viscosity oil.
