Default ISIS Electrical system

Has anyone installed one of these in their cars yet? Know anyone who has?

I'm looking into it and it looks fairly easy and seems to have a lot of great features.

I looked into this after seeing two guys garage install it on their factory five car. Neat system but pricey. I don't have enough electrical in my car to really benefit from their system but would be interested in how it works out for you and your install.

This is being installed on my car within any day now. We ordered it a few weeks ago. I searched multiple forums and could only find 1 complaint but they stood behind their product and made things right with the customer. Everybody seems to love it and said they have not had 1 problem with them.

Very interesting system and from what I read is that the OEM manufacturer's eventually will be going to this to reduce wiring, weight, and space.

I will be able to control and program some of it through my iphone.

Also from what I read is that it can't be hot-wired for theft protection from the way the circuits work.

Any updates on this? Please post pics and updates of this system install in your car. Would be very interested to see how its laid out and functioning.

There will be a full write-up on Kaoss very soon when it gets completed. We are probably another month before delivery date as car was completely stripped except for taking body off the frame. I swapped in the 68 tail lights and deleted the reverse lights so with this system we can now program the turn signals to blink in sequential order like the 60's Mustang GT Shelby's.

Pretty neat. So no reverse light?

You doing a push button start with proximity key? Sounds like its up your alley based on your build.

Yeah...since the rear of the vette is basically right behind my head I don't see a need for reverse lights. If I do need then I will get a license plate frame with the reverse lights. I really wanted the turn signal lights to blink in sequential order. Not sure why I think it will be a cool touch to something different, but I want it.

No push button start or proximity key. I am sure Josh could build this into the project but I think we need to finish this up and get it done so I can drive the crap out of it and hopefully join the 10sec ET club if I got enough guts to keep my foot on the gas pedal. I should as the engine will have around 650 crank HP.

Pics of the ISIS harness install

Josh (Custom Image Corvettes) is doing all the work. I am sure he will do a full complete write-up from A to Z and post on here all the details once the car is done. So for now here are some pics of what the system looks like.

No worries...the costs are on the website also.

Base kit is $999 then you need 2 modules for like power windows and killer headlights. My kit with the custom programming costs about $1,500. This is for a complete A to Z harness.

Custom programming are for items like the angel eyes (halo's) and sequential blinking rear tail light turn signals.

Any more updates on this? I really appreciate the feedback and all the pics. Are you doing all the programming yourself?

If you dont mind my asking what is your electrical background? I'm not to bad with most 12v systems but I'm curious to see how I would do installing this. Last time I checked they didn't have any installers available yet. (not that I could afford that on top of the system.

You will need to contact Josh at Custom Image Corvettes. He knows this system and is doing this install. Here is a pic I got a few mins ago of the ISIS being programed.

I was able to hop on a plane Friday night from Miami to Iowa to meet with Josh @ Custom Image Corvettes for the first time. It was a great experience and well worth the trip. Having said that and not detract from this thread too much...I present to you all

Thats great! So I take it you're happy with the system? I'd really like to install this on my project.

It seems to me this is something a lot of people don't know about and the ones who do are a little scared of because its different. But I think it has the potential to take off one day. I'm also curious as to why they're not being used in production cars.
