Default Nose Emblem Placement

Howdy gang!

While hunting down all the info to complete my 1978 anniversary edition restore, its been a long road. I've done my best to impeccably make sure everything on this car is done to spec. One last piece of info, I can not find except in pictures, however, is the nose emblem placement...

Can anyone please point me in the direction of exact measurements for the nose emblem placement for this vehicle.

this is the emblem

Thank you!!!!!!!!!

I can get a measurement of where my original is located for you tomorrow if nobody has done so by then. Might also be in the AIM, but I've never looked for it.

And, welcome to the CF! Might you take the time to fill in some profile info for us?

There should be two small holes to guide it into place. plus it should have an adhesive backing that will stick it down.

can you look under the nose panel and see where the holes were plugged?

OK, checked mine and the leading edge of the emblem is, as near as makes no difference, 1" from the leading edge of the 'glass. Hopefully from that info you can create a sufficent template for the holes, if you can't determine their location otherwise.
