Head Gasket
Has anyone tried adding any kind of sealer for a small water leak? PO said he had bad head gasket and had the heads redone witch he did but there is a small leak ( found oil in anti freeze ) not much but enough. Make's me hope the head isn't cracked. Seem like they would have found a crack when they rebuilt heads.1973 4-speed 350 l82 833 heads 76cc I really would like to find a better set of heads but not sure what to get,i would like to stick with a stock set w/smaller cc's to get a little compression. Yes Sir; G.M. sells a packet of six pellets, just for that problem. They had so many leaks right from the factory, they couldn't recall & change head gaskets. I broke them in small pcs. & installed them in Co. Trucks. saved a lot of money when trucks were out of Warranty. Have a great day. Gene

WOW Did not ever hear of that. I'll give it a try. I have heard of a lot of problems w/882 heads cracking. Hope i can find a better pair!! Thanks the forum always comes through!!!
