Hello guys..
someone know what kind of thermostat needs for 327 engine in corvette 1968?
160° - 180° -195°???
I have a problem with temperature gauge.
it doesn't work.
I changed it with new one,but the temp is already under 100°.
I changed the temp bulb too.
nothing
now I think the prob is the thermostat.
Also, if your temp gauge is under-reporting, you likely have an incorrect sender. Today, there's no sender that reports accurately, even the ones that claim to, such as Lectric Limited and the sender sold by Zip.
BWD makes a sender that's close (reads about 85% of actual temp).

thank you guys..
Dark Blue, so you think there are different senders and not all are good for my type of engine.
i bought sender for my 68 vette from ecklers...
I tested a couple of senders and here's the graph - the Wells TU-5 seemed to work best. In any event, it's best to check the outlet temperature with a handheld IR gun.
