Default It is either dried pine sap or super glue

What is the best way of to safely remove it from my door without damaging the paint? The drop is so small that it is probably only noticeable to me, but I want to remove it from the paint.

I've taken sap off while washing the car. Just scrap it with my thumb nail, while there's soap and water on the spot to kind of "lubricate" the area around it. Sometimes have to polish the area afterward, but it doesn't scrape the paint.

Might want to try the "Bug and Tar" remover you can buy at the auto parts store. WARNING I dont' know how it works on fiberglass. Maybe try a hidden spot somewhere first to make sure it doesn't react.

I have removed pitch using paint thinner. You may need to wax the area again after. Try it in an inconspicuous area first. If it is super glue, try to shave it off with a razor blade . . .

I use naptha (lighter fluid) to remove anything that soap wont. It evaporates without residue, doesn't interact with paint and is cheap.

3M Adhesive remover --- it will remove anything from weatherstip glue to tar, to bugs, to --- well, everything but the paint.

Works awesome, and any "good" parts store will have it, and any auto paint store will have plenty.

Diesel or kerosene will also work. Make sure you wax afterwards.

My first try has always been hot, soapy water. I mean hot like hot coffee hot. Usually works. Least invasive method first, I always say.

I've tried the thumbnail and soap and water. This stuff doesn't budge. I might go with adhesive remover or kerosene next. I will try it out on an inconspicuous place first. The spots are so small that I may not even worry about. It isn't even obvious to me unless I get about 4" from it. I found it while washing the car.

I've always used a "cleaner" wax like a step-one body scrub...comes right off. A little WD-40 on a rag works too...just like adhesive remover.
