Default 1974 Brake booster install help???

Where do I start? I have crawled under the dash with the seat out. I can not get to the nuts very good nor the the brake pedal pin. Anyone have any good way to R&R a brake booster?

Thanks,

Jack up the front of the car a bit. (optional, but easier)
With the door propped open, kneel beside it.
If you have a/c remove the duct under the column. (1 screw at foot light)
Get a 3/8" ratchet, 2 foot of extensions, a universal and deep 9/16" socket in that order.
You just feel for the 4 nuts and unbolt, no need to look.
Look at a pic of the pin lock clip first. Use a flat screwdriver to bend lock tang and push up.
Shouldn't take more than 15 minutes, clip is the hardest.

I replaced my brake booster this weekend. The best thing I did was remove my front seat. Its only 4 bolts, that made the best difference for me.

It let me lie on my back looking up into the dash area, and I could clearly see the 4 bolts, and the pin and clip. I think its a 9/16 nut on the 4 bolts. I used the socket then a flexible extension piece, and two long extenders before it got to the ratchet. This let me get the angle to the nuts, and the 2 extenders were far enough out of the dash area that I could unscrew the nuts.

Taking the clip off was easy. Putting it back on was difficult. I could not get my fingers in between the area to put it back on. I used a long needle nose pliers to hold the clip and that let me slide it on far enough that I could push it the rest of the way with my fingers.
