this car is drivin me nuts.
I set the tps to .56 as directed from another search.
I have no low end power what so ever. the throttle locks up several times in a 7 mile drive to have the computermanagemnt system relearn the adjustments made to it.
I have replace the intake manifold gasket, plentum gasket, no leaks that i can find on it.
both injectors have a good spray pattern.
ran the codes and the tps shows up. no other codes on it, so I adjusted it again to make sure it was adjusted as needed.
whats up with that, shouldnt a vette have some serious take off power instead of slowing getting their?
I need serious help.
I have tried, I am locked out of postin, searching or replying to the forums. I have contacted the admin and am waiting to hear back from.
I am so ready to drop the plentum and add an intake and a carb on it.
http://www.crossfireinjection.net/you can also find a lot of info here .your tps should be checked in the 2v range and set at .525 .have you checked the timing?what do the plugs look like .you need to check the fuel pressure .the fuel pumps are one of the things that go bad a lot .let us know what you find

I had it set at .525 and it threw a check engin light at me. so I reset it up to .56. the timming I had to bypass the computer to get it set to 6. so I believe it is set right. I dont have a fuel pressure guage to check the flow.
the previous owner said it was recently done so I didnt think anything of it. I replaced the rear (drivers side) injector, through ecklers so I am hoping they sent me the right one.
I will keep ya posted as I progress with the issue.
if you got a code from the tps when you had it at the correct reading ,i would replace it .the fuel pressue is real important on thse cars .the fix for them is to replace the fuel pump with one from a 1985 corvette .i all so would change my o2 sensor so that you know what you have .all these tips you will find on the cross-fire forum.
All of the above and I don't know why you need to set the TPS so high. Usually when a TPS acts up you'll get a stumble or a dead spot in the pedal throw. If the car has a lot of miles 100k+ Try advancing the timing until it pings. Many times the hormonic balancer slips and then there is no way to time your engine by lookin at marks, you'll have to do it by ear. This I feel is your problem.
Fuel pressure can usually feel like a surging or a bog. The guage is cheap and can be tapped in by the fuel filter. Your looking for around 15psi.
With the engine running you should see a fine mist hitting the TB blades. Opening the TBs you should see that mist turn into a strong spray. Both TBs should be equal.
My stock crossfire rips off the line but then falls on its face at 5000 rpm like all crossfire vettes

ok. so replacing the tps would help as well as checking the fuel pressure, brining the timming up a touch should be more accurate as from what I can tell by ear. the car has 72k on it. I have access to the crossfire forums now so I will be able to post their. I have a good idea now what I need to do to bring the vette back up to par.
Thank you for your imput. I will work on it tomarrow evening and post with what I come up with. the fuel tank I will be dropping this weekend and replacing the pump as well as cleaning it out.
