Default 1974 frame difference Auto/Manual trans?
Can someone here explaian the difference between trans crosmembers in these frames? Can one be swapped for the other? Whats involved? Does anyone any pics? Thank you Mike.

The 4 speed is welded in, the auto is bolted. Sure, you can do anything if you have the parts. Just a matter of welding it in.

Rear trans mounts might also be different between the two.
