Windshield Popping Noise
So my old windshield with a small crack in it used to make this popping noise when I went over bumps or when I drove a road that wasn't smooth. Now I have a new windshield. When it's cool outside, the windshield is silent but once it gets about 70 degrees or higher outside, the windshield makes the popping noise again. Any ideas on why it does this?

It may be the windshield frame.. when they had the windshield out, did you get a chance to inspect it?
It may be the trim moldings in a bind..
and lastly it could be the header receiver and t molding. You'd almost need to isolate the area of the noise and move from there but it should not be popping.

The frame wasn't too bad. We cleaned it of surface rust and then the guy installing it put a good amount of sealant in there. I could try removing the top t molding and then taking it for a drive on a hot day to see if that removes the noise.

Might work... But you need to isolate the noise.. maybe remove the upper windshield molding too. See what happens..
