Power antenna parts
Does anyone have an old power antenna that I could get parts off of? My antenna is an AM-FM-CB so I dont want to have to replace it and have to rewire everything. The armature is burn out on mine. Everything else is OK. The motor portion is the same whether is had a CB or not. I have tried 3 different electric motor repair places and the all tell me the armature can't be repaired. Or does anyone know where I might be able to get a new armature?

I'm not sure, but if all you need is the armature, couldn't you just go to a salvage yard and get a junk one out of just about any GM car to use the armature? A friend of mine that has a junk yard here told me that if you find a power antenna with the mast out, then the motor is OK and the nylon cord is just broken. Good luck.
