Hey gang! I'm enjoying learning all about my new wheels. Recently purchased a 1982 CE, had it about 3 weeks. I was noticing under the hood that there appeared to be some foam missing right above the radiator. Not sure if it is to support the hood or help divert air but I was wondering if anyone had a pic of what it is suppose to look like. It also appeared at one time there was also foam around the perimeter of the hood which is long gone. Just curious what a complete car is suppose to look like. Any help would be appreciated.

Bill,
If you go to Willcox or Zip corvette, they will have pictures. I am missing my foam on my 79 above the radiator also (no over heating issues). You can buy the foam and weatherstrip from almost all the corvette venders.
