The brake and turn signals are feed from a different circuit.
The tails, markers and and dash lights feed from the headlamp switch. I have an isolated schematic of the entire circuit at the shop, but I don't think I have it here.. I'll check and post if I do.
But the headlamp switch feeds power to all of these items. I believe it is on the brown wire to the rear lamps at least it is on the 69 we just did. If the same, the brown wire runs from the rear lamps and the side makers straight to the headlamp switch.

Recheck the TAIL fuse using a test light and check the clips that hold the fuse,a poor connection between the clips and fuse can fool you.
If the fuse is good and right and left clips holding the fuse are hot then you need to go to the headlight switch and check the orange for power.
If the orange is hot, check the brown(and the green)(switch on),if the brown is not hot then the headlight switch is bad(providing the orange and brown are making good connections at the switch).
That should be good for now.

Pretty quick and easy to do too.. All this is fresh in my head, I just got through trouble shooting one in the shop...
Roger, I've been working on a simplified schematic for this too... Should make explaining easier for everyone. Only downfall.. it's on my office computer and it's turned off from the storm last night.
I usually lower the steering column and then lower the speedo/tach assembly just far enough to get to the switch. I also loosen most of the dash screws clear over to the passenger door to give more flex and to keep from cracking the dash parts.
A friend had this happen on his C3.... Dash aft went out... Was the ground at the left rear side marker... It's the ground for all that... Or so he said....
