1982 Centre bezel removal

1982 Centre bezel removal
I am having difficulties removing the centre bezel on my 1982. I removed the 4 screws at the top and the nuts on the radio and it feels like there is something holding it at the bottom. I can't see any more screws at the bottom of the bezel. I am afraid to break it if I pull any harder. Is there screws under the side carpet?

There are 2 screws at the base connected to the centre console bezel. You may have to remove the side console carpet pieces to get to them. Be careful as these are the ones that crack.
