I just bought a 78 with a missing 4 speed. bellhousing clutch flywheel and gearbox seems to have all walked off. Long story short I think they were stolen... I have the orginal motor and all. Linkage pedals and shifter are still in the car. Anyhow.........
I have a complete vortec headed 350 bolted to an lt1 style t56. The plan is to drop that in the Vette hydraulic clutch set up and all. I read on here somehere that the Master Cyl angle will be wrong as it connects to the clutch pedal. Somone made a bracket to correct this and Im wondering if theses brackets are for sale somewhere or if theres a picture with some dimensions floating around?
72LS1 that almost sounds too easy!! Whats involved in shortening it and making it adjustable? My guess is tht at will be obvious as soon as its in my hands

Just cut a piece out of the middle of the rod, thread both ends and use a union piece like you'd find on a turnbuckle.
I have seen quite a few of your posts on THE LS swap thread. Its good to have guys around who have been through this already. Now to cut out my crossmember and modify it.
Ive been searching 2 days almost straight and haven't found this great of info. I swapped the motor/trans into my iroc but it was all camaro to camaro so parts just swapped right over. This is a bit different and you guys are great!! THANK YOU!!!
I have a Centerforce clutch also. The shaft of the truck MC actually lines up straight with the pedal. The clutch in my car works really smoothly. My kids complain that it feels almost too smooth.
Mine was from a 1986 Chevy C30 Pickup.
Wagner part#CM110273
Cross reference that part number with a Duralast master cylinder... The
Duralast uses a thicker rod
I cant find where to find and translate the part to Duralast.
Here in Sweden they dont sell Duralast,so i cant find Duralast part number. If i find the part number i will buy from USA.Can some one find Duralast part number for this parts from Wagner:
This slave cylinder bolts to the t56? Please let me know ASAP I've been having the hardest time with this hydraulic clutch setup
No, sorry. That slave is the one I used for my setup with the stock fork/bellhousing/trans (stock Chevy 1 Ton slave). Are you using an LT1 T56? Why not use the stock slave cylinder?
Currently I am trying to use the stock slave cylinder with the 1 ton master cylinder my problem is I can not find anyone to make a custom hydraulic line to connect the two together. The master cylinder uses the typical screw in type line and the slave cylinder uses the push in and pin deal. Anyone know of a place to get a line made?

I bought a kit from hot rod hydraulics for my other car with the LT1 T56... They supplied an adapter for the slave from the push in pin to AN.
Maybe give them a call and see if they will sell you the adapter? Otherwise find a hydraulic line shop and see if they can get something for you.
