Default Engine/Transmission Swap

I've been reading the info on ls1 swaps, what would be different using an lt1? I have a 93 C4 with lt1 and 6 speed that I want to put in my 75automatic coupe. I hope some here have done something similiar to this. What is the minumum items needed for the fi, o2 sensors, electric fuel pump, and what else?

I am pretty certain I ran across a few LT1 swaps on line when I was planning my LS1 swap a few years ago. Do a search on the various forums. Less expensive, esp if you have the donor vehicle and prety good performance. I totalled my 93 firebird forumula v8 a couple of years before getting my C3 or I may have gone that way also. The reverse cooling is something to consider when plumbing the rad, and you might want to put a new opti-spark in if it has the original and you see any signs of coolant weep over it.

If you have access to the donor car (sounds like you may) grab the computer, harness,O2 sensors, fuel pump out of tank I believe, fuel press reg if one used, even cats if you need to have on the car in your state. Going from auto to stick will require you to get a pedal set from a manual C3 (I also went from auto to 6 speed and am sooo glad I did), I also went hydraulic clutch vice the C3 z bar. A lot of similarities to LS1 swap and similar effort in doing the swap.

Have fun!
