Default Piston Install(Caliper)

How's it going everyone! It's been a while since I last asked a quetion here. I'm getting ready to put my calipers back together and wanted to ask you guys for any tips, or advice before I do this. Should I lubricate the sleeves with a bit of brake fluid to make the install easier? This isn't an o-ring conversion, and yes I know "I should do the conversion now," but I'm going to hold off on that for now. I just want to finally drive the Vette. I just finished the suspension and now it's on to this. Thanks you guys.

Don't worry about an O ring conversion, they are for cars that don't get driven. Just use quality seals and yes, lubricate with some brake fluid. Its a straightforward installation and torque the caliper bolts to the correct amount, DON'T forget the little O rings that go between the caliper casting halves.

Yes you can lubricate the pistons and the seals. It make installing them easier. I used an old style feeler gauge at one of the thin settings to help seat them in the bores.
