Re: Adjusting idlespeed for a 82 crossfire? (Pete Z)
You have to drill out the plug at the back of the drivers side throttle body to gain access to the idle adjustment screw. Some instructions on how to do this are located at http://www.crossfire.homeip.net
The computer should control your idle, if you are having difficulities with it, you may want to balance your throttle bodies, then adjust your throttle position switch(again, instructions on all this stuff on the crossfire injection vault in the tech section), make sure you have no vacumn leaks (including your headlights - a lot of people have slight leaks in the headlight system and don't realize it) and then see where you are at.
Hey, I can't believe it, I beat Marck to this one!

Hey Pete,
Man.. when people want something from you, one suddenly has a lot of friends ;) :D
You'll have to stand in line, AndyV (on ICC) is currently the 1st in line.. he calls me "friend" all day long too ;) :D
The reason is that we disassembled his complete suspension & steering because he couldn't pass the safety test and he has no clue on how to get it back together hehehee :D
We'll be busy on his car the sunday after next and I never have time on Saturday.....
