I was guessing he was refering to the later screw in side terminal battery.
on side terminal batteries,
the screw in terminal is simply a nut imbedded into the Lead around it,
too long of a bolt, or too much torq. and you will push the nut right out of the battery,
No perment repair, try and return the battery.
