yes, vintage speed in Vero beach Florida makes a set up with 2g Rochester's that is nice only certain air cleaners work. others have similar systems, also an h.e.i. distributor wont clear. looks neat. a friend of mine has this system on his vette.
Mine fits in a 63. See my Covette Photos. Offenhauser sits shorter for better clearance. The 2g small base setups are 600 CFM. The picture in My Corvette Photos is a small base on a 302. This one is Large base carbs 816 CFM for the 383. Built it in my basement.
They are very simple to tune. The big thing is for the end carb throttle plates to seal perfect. The center carb is a conventional 2 bbl. This is what you idle on and at cruise your running on it. The end carbs have no idle circuits and all you have to worry about is the jet sizing to get proper A/F ratio. The linkage is progressive. You can set it to come in at almost any RPM and the end carbs act the same as secondaries on a 4 bbl. If you look close you will see a solinoid near the distributor and aluminum plates between the phenolic spacers and the intake. That is a 150 nitrous spray plate. 3 plates hard piped, (stealth)
