I am looking for a place to get premade hydroboost lines. I have my booster installed but for some reason I just cannot get the lines to seal so instead of constantly taking them on and off and trying again (while shooting fluid all over the floor of the garage) I would rather just get a set already put together. Any ideas. I just cant get the aeroquip reusable hose ends to seal correctly. They are the compression fitting ones not the cutter style and I am frankly tired of wasting my time trying to get them to work.
I searched quite a bit and was unable to come up with lines that were already made. My set up is not the typical hydroboost plumbing, though, so I'm not saying they don't exist. But since you already have all the pieces and just cant get a good seal, have you considered running your pieces to a local NAPA or air conditioning specialist to have the fittings crimped on?

tried that,
nearest napa is 40 miles away. not going to do an 80 mile trip for hoses.
i have screwed with these fitting so much that they are beat to hell. at this point it would cost the same to go back to stock as it would to get all new hoses and fittings. if i get new fittings i am definitely not going back to the compression ones. maybe it is because i cant find any instructions anywhere (to include the aeroquip site) on these things. instructions everywhere for the other style but for these no dice. most of the time once the fitting is tightened down the hose just pulls right back out of it.
I'm not sure which type of aeroquip fitting you used, but bear in mind that its a 1200+ PSI system that needs a special kind of fittings. When I did my hydroboost lines, there was only one type of hose and fitting that can withstand that kind of pressure, and after 3 years of service in a daily driven car its still leak free.
i am using the aeroquip teflon fitting fmb1144. these are the ones that were recommended with the install paperwork. for some reason i just cannot get them to seal. i just dont understand what i am doing wrong.
i just dont have the time or patience anymore to deal with fighting with stupid hoses. I am going back to the stock vacuum booster. if anyone wants a hydrobooster that is ready to install complete with the 77 style master cylinder and as many of the fittings as I have not screwed up yet pm me for a good deal.

Come on, you reached that far and you want to go back to that sucker (literally)? .. Hydroboost is far better and you'll really enjoy having it. just do exactly what you see on the PDF file and you'll be in business.
I've installed about 4 hydroboost systems and the hose shop I deal with says you "should not" have to crank down on the fittings for them to seal. Once the fitting is snug, only like another 1/4 turn will seal it properly. They may be damaged or maybe even non compatable. If you have a hydraulics shop near you, they should be able to fix you up. Don't give up on hydroboost. You will love it once you get the kinks out. Also, it is hot rodding and stuff like this happens. I know it is frustrating as hell, but give it another shot and try to find a hose shop that does this stuff all day and it will be a lot easier on you. I know NAPA does hoses too, but unless you have a person that really knows what they are doing, it can sometimes make it worse. Good luck.
