Red 73's vett has, imho the perfect stance.. so this week im going to lower the front and rear to get the car down to ride height be fore i get the four wheel alignment..

My wheel choice was
18x10---5.5" backspacing
Front was 17x8----4.75 backspacing

Follow along as i lower the car i will try and take some pics!

From the pictures you have posted YES the car could sit lower. However the rear wheels are tilted in on the bottom like the car just came off the jack. If that's the case you should drive it and see where your stance is really at. If not you need a rear wheel alignment. The stance on the red car is as good as it gets but that may not be practical depending on what your roads are like. I think your car would look better if it was lowered some. How much? That depends on how harsh a ride you are comfortable with and how carefull you want to be when driving your car.

Looks good as is. I have replica c6 wheels in black chrome finish, 18 fronts 19 rear. Unsure about backspacing and how wide wheel adapters I need should be.

I want to come down 1" in the front and 1.75 in the rear. and yes the car is in need of a four wheel alignment. i wanted to get the stance perfect before i take it in. i just took the car around the block and wow what a diffrence wheels and tires make.

I just picked up my 2.5" spacers for my 1990 wheels to put on my 77. I did a test fit on the back last night and I have about a 2" difference between the old wheel upper gap and the new wheel. as much as I love the lowered stance, i'm seriously not too fond of the idea of dragging things that shouldn't be dragged.
