Its possible an engine shop could do this for you. Did yours warp or was it damaged? Depending on the cost it may be cheaper to buy a new carb body or a good used one.
Its a common procedure that is done by carb builders.
By carb builders I dont mean guys at the local garage, I mean guys that specialize in carbs.
Carb guys here appear to be crooks. I told 2 shops about my helicoil issues they both said the carbs are scrap and wanted to sell me knew ones. One Guy actually spelled out for emphasis "S-C-R-A-P. I discovered the fix on this forum (helicoil in a helicoil) which is common knowledge everywhere except the shops I contacted. Take your pick, they are crooked or not good at what they do.
