Worked on the Vette all weekend!
Here goes...
Thursday, I drove to Bairs in Pa and purchased a complete brake kit including 4 rotors, 4 calipers, New brake pads, Emergency brake cables and 4 flex hoses.
Since then I have installed everything. What a huge sense of accomplishment.You just gotta love it when you complete a major job without hitting ant obstacles. :D
HOWEVER, I am missing one of the rectangular brake line retaining springs :mad I bought the kit from Zip eons ago! Does anyone have a spare???
Also, on Saturday I bought a new set of skins. Firestone Firehawk 255-60-15's. Boy do they look mean! and best of all they were only $185 out the door! You just have to love neighbors that work for a tire Manufacturer :lol:
Anybody with one of those brake retainers, please let me know!
