What does the relay do that is located in the compartment where the jack stores?

my car is a 70 so i assume it is the same. anyone else?

70 is the same,do you only have 1 relay in the compartment ?

If you only have 1 and the car is stock its the alarm relay and you should have a flasher also. Wiring should be pink,black,white and yellow.

i saw only one when i looked. the relay cover was eat up with rust so i will need a new one. there was a two prong clip next to the relay but i assumed it was the clip for the jack.
