"She" thinks I should paint her blue, comments ?
The girlfriend thinks I should paint Banshee blue.
She really doesn't seem to like the "corvette yellow".
I really love the yellow, But she just won't stop suggesting it.
She even went as far as to get a quote from a friend of mine at a body shop.
The only blue I would ever even consider is electron blue, and I do admit, I like it.
But I think she looks good yellow.
So what do you guys think ?

At first I thought you were talking about body painting.. which can get pretty exciting... ;)
but as for color, I'm a blue guy, myself.
Yellow also looks good, though... be careful in your choice of yellow if you go that route.

If I was to be making your decision, I would have to decide which is going to be around longer.........then still paint it YELLOW. :cool:

Between your vette and your girlfriend, which do you think you'll be with longer? If you think painting it a color she doesn't like, will somehow make her upset with you, I said paint it yellow, and use it to find a new girl. If she doesn't care, but would like it to be blue, paint it whatever color you want, if you make her mad, said "but I didn't think it mattered, anyway, its just a car color." That'll get her to be quiet about it, and support it being whatever color YOU want it to be.
If all else fails, ask her if she's planning to cover the cost of the repaint.. :jester :jester

I like yellow very much...except when compared to Electron Blue. These married guys just don't understand... keep the lady happy and go Blue... then "go at it." :bb :bb :bb

Speaking as a lady ... I disagree. Did she offer to pay for the re-paint? She's your girlfriend, not your wife. Don't change it. Keep it yellow! The old saying "over time, girls hope their guys will change, guys hope thier girls won't" rings true here....the vette is just the beginning :)

I guess the first question you should be asking is "Does the car NEED paint?" If not, why would you even consider painting it? It is a huge job, and will take the car out of comission for a long time if done right. Then, once you paint the car, everytning else looks bad... chrome, wheels, interior, etc. So you have to fix them, too. If that is what you already have planned, then OK, but you would be starting down a long and expensive road. I would keep it as is. Joe
