Engine temps.. again!
Quick question. Everyone on the forum is always worried about how hot the engine gets. They seem to think that when the temps get up to about 210* something is wrong. This might be, but both my 2010 Chevy truck and my wife’s 2008 Toyota both run at 210* all the time. Are the newer systems set to run hotter?

No, 210F is where motors get the best efficiency to power ratio. My Vette has always had 192 or 195 deg. Stant high flow thermostats with a few 1/8 holes drilled in it for bubble flow and ease of filling.
