Default Fuel Filter

Need alittle help with fuel filter on my '72 SB. Anybody have any pictures? Should the fuel line to the filter be "really" hard to break loose? I am afraid I will bend, damage, etc... the line, carb and everything else attached.
Help!

you need 2 wrenches, one open end to hold the large nut on the carburetor and a 5 sided wrench on the fuel line nut.

That would be a 1" open and a 5/8" flare.

Will these wrenches also work on a 78 Q-Jet for a fuel filter R/R?

Yes. Just watch that 5/8" brass nut. It may be tight on the fuel line and you can do a twisty if not careful. Some PB Blaster might be wise beforehand.

That's all you need to change the fuel filter on any Q-Jet. Makes no difference what year it is, or what brand GM car it is.
