my fronts are leaking, id like to rebuild them with o-ring pistons. do all original calipers have the stainless steel liners that are apparently required for this conversion?

yes....when they sleeve the calipers they over bore them....you would only want to use the SS calipers the chances of finding an original caliper that is not pitted to death is next to impossible
thx guys, PO says they r only a few yrs ole, so hopefully they r sleeved. ive ordered 1 O ring conversion kit, ill know for sure, when i pull the worst of the calipers apart, what i have

its easy to loosen the caliber halves when they are mounted.....this way the car acts like a big vise(sometimes these are a pain to loosen)...all you need to do is loosen the bolts that hold the two halves together.
