Default Q-Jet stumble

At small throttle openings after trailing throttle, like cooling it through town, the car will buck slightlly just enough to make it difficult to be smooth. Everywhere else it works great. Recent amateur (me) rebuild set to factory specs. Any advice surely appreciated! '71 270hp.

Aside from the obvious (accelerator pump) I'd look at the power piston, and if you don't already know make sure you haven't overtightened the two hold-down bolts that go through the carb body into the manifold...they can easily warp the carb top and cause no end of internal bleeding resulting in wierd running. Look and make sure that you're getting a nice well-atomized stream coming from the shooters when you move the throttle; if that looks OK I'd begin suspecting the power piston...
