Default Question about the Borgeson drag link adapter

Hello!
Please look at the video and tell me, if this play in the drag link adapter is normal or not.
For me it is not ok because I spent a lot of money for a steering box with NO play, so I don´t want a drag link with play in it.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks, Günther

I installed the Borgeson conversion last summer and have no play anywhere. Is your drag link defective?

I have that same link on my system....no you should not have any play in it. Call Borgeson, they should exchange it for a new one

Is the screw on the end tightened all the way? It looks like it is backed out from the end of the housing.

I'd pull that cotter pin out and tighten the screw to take out that slop. Then reinstall the cotter pin. That should take care of your problem.

Definitely just need to adjust the scew plug tighter to take the play out. Should be fine.

I already did this, but there is still a little play. The next days I gonna make a testdrive and then I will see, if it became better or not.

I haven't done one of those yet...but is there a rounded *cup type* of insert in the back side of the opening for the stud? That plug looks like it's out a good bit still. There shouldn't be any play at all..just enough to allow it to be free to pivot.
