When i pulled my old heads,PO had used what could be Mr.Gasket Gold Rocker Arm Nuts # 920G. I've never used anything like these. How do i adjust with them?

Do they have the locking screw in the middle of them?
You can adjust them like any other nut as far as the actual valve adjustment goes.
You will need to make sure that the set screw is backed off far enough to allow you to adjust the nuts.
After you get the lash or preload set where you want it, you just use a wrench to hold the outer nut while using an allen wrench to lock the set screw.
Two warnings though-
1-The set screws work best when the rocker stud is very flat on top.
2- Sometimes its hard to lock the set screw down tight enough to prevent moving. It can be helpful to back the main nut off a hair, tighten the set screw as much as possible, and then rotate the two together the last little bit. Be careful though, if you turn them together too much you can crack the lock nut.
