1972 454 AC compressor rear mount
Does anyone know what the rear mount configuration of the AC compressor for a big block should look like. I've seen To many confusing illustrations of parts for this application... Such as a bracket that extends over the valve cover etc....much appreciated!

mine is cast iron and it mounts to the front 2 exhaust manifold bolts,(bolts with studs) and it does not extend over the valve cover.there is room to get the cover off without messing with the bracket or compressor. if it wasn't next to impossible to see i would try and get a picture............hope this helps. i'm 99.99999% sure its the original bracket
