Default Noise in rear

After a 200 mile trip, my '77 developed a noise in the right rear that you can hear at low speed. Brakes were replaced about 500 miles earlier, no noise then. I jacked it up, put on stands and ran it to try to pinpoint. Noise is greater on right side, sounds metallic, but not like it is coming from the rotor. I can only hear the noise at low speed, around 5-10 mph. I would guess wind and engine drown out the noise at higher speed. Could this be the right wheel bearing? How can I confirm? Is it a huge job to replace the rear wheel bearings?

with the rear jacked up and the tire mounted grab the tire and see if there is play in the axle spindle.

Default Noise in rear

I jacked it up, with the tires on both sides had slight movement, about 1/16" with my hands @ 12 & 6 and no movement at hands @ 3 & 9 position. I ran the car on stands with the wheels off, noise is much more pronounced on right side, but same amount of play in both. Check and greased axle universals, no apparent problems there. Another clue, no noise when applying brakes, of course this stops the movement, but a slight depression should still have noise. I realize I would be better off with rebuilt trailing arm units, and should do both sides, still not absolutely sure bearings are shot. Car has 67,000 miles.
