ABC has a JVC for 99.00 installed. I think it will be more to cut the bezel but hopefully not too much.
stock system sounds like crap.
I figure I will just do the JVC for now and put some Polk speakers in later, maybe next week. Is it prett easy to install 6X9's in the back??
I heard you have to build spacers. How thick do they need to be?
I figure I'll see how that sounds tehn go for a sub and amp later on. I already have a truck enclosure with 10" Kenwood but its blown so I will have to go with a shallow sub. I'm hoping a POlk will fit but might have to go with a Kicker.
Watch they don't peel back your upper dash where the upper cluster meets to top dash. There is a bulb socket in the top of the cluster that can catch and peel if your not careful.
do you know how to put in a stereo ?its not that hard .you can buy the wire kit and its plug and play .to cut the dash is easy wth a dremal .if you dont feel good about it let the pro do it.http://vettes.shutterfly.com/#editPictures:albumId=27one of the best upgrades i have done .i have the polks in the front kenwood excelon in the back .
