A/C compressor on 82
Does anyone have a cross reference of the compressors that will fit on my 82? I have found several on E bay, NOS that look like they will fit, for early 80's GM mid size cars. I want a OEM compressor, as the rebuilt one I just installed is worse than the original I just took off.
It looks ike the only "soft" lines are the one that goes from the compressor to the condensor / drier. I think it might be a good idea to just replace anything rubber related on a 29 year old car. 134 is getting expensive!

76-late through 82 all used the GM R4 radial compressor. If memory serves, the R4 is pretty much generic and was used in several different GM makes. You will want to use your compressor hardware for the install.
