Headlight Housing Different in '68?
I'm trying to find a good dirvers side headight housing for my '81.
Corvette America lists the same part ($240) for all C3's, but a guy here in Phoenix told me the ones for the 1968 model are 1/8 inch shorter. He went to sell me a used housing and I saw the number "68" stamped inside so we compared it with one on his '75 and, sure enough, it's a little shorter.
Question: are the aftermarket housings one-size-fits-all? Anybody have any experience with this? I'm having trouble finding a used housing and am leery about buyng the aftermarket.
