Default 69 vette broken ball stud

the ball stud for the clutch z bar has broken off in the block. The threaded piece is recesed below surface. Tried vibrating out the piece with no luck. I dont think an easy out is going to work because the first threads are beat up from broken piece. I read somewere that their may be a adapter bracket I can use but having trouble locating one. Any ideas besides drilling and easy out. Thanks Dave

Really dont understand Easy-Outs myself, as smaller than the bolt that broke under torquing in the first place. These will work, if you first drill the broken bolt, heat up the surrounding area red with an oxy/acetylene torch, then go at it. Good idea setting up an air mover when doing this.

If you cant get it out then you can use this. Simple and cheap.

Its actually used for the gen VI big blocks that dont have the ball stud provision. The demensions for the bellhousing flange for a small block and big block are the same so it should work on your small block.
