Steering safety inspection
I want to inspect my steering system to make sure everything is safe. What are the main points I should hit on?
All I know about so far are the 'rag joint' and the steering box (although, I'm not sure what I'm looking for on the steering box)
I'm not talking about a complete overhaul, just want to make sure that everything is in order so there is no catastrophic loss of steering. (Can that happen?) :eek:

If you read through all these articles (GREAT work bi Jim Shea) you'll probably know more about steering than you ever dreamed off. Print em and read in bed. Just make sure you leave your clothes on, because at some point in time you will get the urge to go to the garage and check it out on the car :D
