Best Header Gasket?
So I've got a nasty exhaust leak, I have shorty headers and side pipes, it sounds like both the header and collectors are leaking.
Can anyone recommend a brand that will last without leaking?
Should I get square or round port gaskets?
I forgot to mention, it's going on an 1979 iron headed L82.

This comes up often, and lots depends on your header flange design. If flush, pure copper types with port beads work pretty good. If raised flange tubes, then probably Mr Gasket Ultra Seals with metal mesh cores. I've used these on several installs, with never once a problem. If your header tubes and head exhuast port styles dont match up, then maybe another problem.
