Wipers not working on 1970.
When I first fired the motor the cover lifted and wipers started.
Since then the cover has stayed up and I cant get the wipers going again.
I have 12v at the lt blue wires. I broke the switch housing thinking it was serviceable but Ive put it back and it feels ok. When I push the switch in for the washer (washer not connected) I hear a clunk. switch connects dk blue and black wires at low speed but cant get any terminals connected at hi speed.
wiper cover override switch is on. Any ideas?
Turn ign key to on
alligator clip of test light to alternator case-ground
(touch probe end of TL to a known hot to confirm light does light up)
probe red wire going in side of wiper motor to confirm power
probe yellow wire at 3 wire connector to confirm power
probe lt blue wire at 3 wire connector-motor should click and run on high
If all grounds are present the wiper motor should run this way,if it doesn't we can move on with more tests.
