Default Another brake question

To which I coudl not find teh answer in my search quest.

So how does one keep the pistons in the calipers when repalacing worn pads w/new ones?

And, I searched for run out & found nothing on what it is, what it does, good, bad, etc.

Can someone point me in that direction as well please?

Oh, & is titanium better than cobalt for a drill bit?

I have the stock rotors on my car, all riveted in & I gotta drill them out.
One thread I found mentioned going up to a 3/8" bit to get the rivets out.

Thanks.

Mine have worked well for over 20 years. Wished I would have had them sooner.
