Did you run them in the factory positions or differently? Did you put anything over the line to stop it from being cut/punctured-damaged? Just weighing my options, thanks
I think I followed the factory path as much as possible...but took the path of least resistance.Just used common sense to avoid problems and secured it to the frame every foot or so. No extra protection for the lines, the Areoquip stuff is tuff.
If u have the frame off I would just make the hard line if u r undecided. I have braided on my car but the $$COST$$ is way up there compared to a hard line set up.
I use Earls fittings and hose-Aeroquip is top of the line and is the most expensive. Earls isn't cheap either by any stretch of imagination.
If u use the cheapo stuff stuff Summit brand u may get that gas small and have problems.
I'm gonna use summit stuff for my vent-catch can setup but I wouldn't use it for anything under pressure.
Good braided line had a metal core in the rubber to resist the collapsing of the line that some of u referred to.
