Did anyone install the 910-SK505-125 NeverNight Xenon Headlight Harness Kit For 68-82 Corvettes (Including All Four Xenon Headlamps, Wiring Harness & All Mounting Hardware) from Speed direct?

Interesting, but I'm wondering if the possible difficulty of having to mod the buckets for the xenon bulbs could be understated. In any event, together with the Killer Lights vacuum-to-electric conversion this might well make for a very good setup. Hopefully, someone who has installed this will chime in.

They say direct fit and much better lighting, something that our cars really need. I was wondering if the power that these lights need will be heavy on the alternator?
Installing relays on your stock light system will help lumination of your lights by eliminating voltage drop through your light switch. Plus it takes the strain off of your light switch.
What gazman says is almost the same as what the kit does, except it comes with the xenon lamps and gets power from the alt. I'm happy with the brightness and the kit itself. The buckets need to be cut but it's not hard with a Dremel and it's the only mod required to the stock equipment. I do have a 105A alternator. (i bought the kit because legislation requires a,certain level of brightness & the the glass needs to have a E stamp)
Below a link to a video, and they where just running from the battery (12V)

Didn't get anything on that link. Interested in seeing that. Looking at light upgrade myself.
