Does rebuilt 350 need ZDDP?

So I'm picking up my first C3 tomorrow, Red! Keisler 5 spd w/rebuit 350 with about 3k miles since rebuild. Owner claims 400 HP and I drove the car but don't really know. I asked and he indicated it was ready for an oil change. I have read many oil discussions and just want to know if the 350 motor is the flat tappet or roller type engine so I'll know if it needs this ZDDP additive that's in certain oils? Sorry but it's not my intention to start a long drawn out oil discussion. I just need to know if the oil I choose needs this additive. I have always used synthetics or at least a synthetic blend in all my cars and motorcycles. thanks

If you are unsure your engine has a flat tappet cam or roller, an oil with high zddp content will not hurt. Cheap insurance.

ask the owner if its a roller cam engine when you pick it up. chances are its not.

Make sure he doesnt just mean roller rockers.

and ask if it has a rollor cam, and which one. get a cam card or cam #.
