I have two C3 and Im in the same boat with both. One has 15 pro stars wheels with 10 inch fronts 12 rears with old pro trac Bias Ply tires 50 series. On the other it has Center Line with BFG 275-50-15 fronts and 26-13-16 race tires in rear. The problem is that they don't make BFG 275-50-15 for the fronts but I believe 295-50-15 for the rears are still available. Need advise on what you guys have done to keep the 15 x 10 & 15 x 12 wheels when tires sizes are becoming an issue of availability. What's out there in manufacturer still making large tires, 275-50-15 & 295-50-15, THANKS

Reason: Better Explaining need
I'm new to the forum, Meaning long time listener, first time caller. lol. I'm not sure how you guys Bump the post back up to the top, But I'm surprised I haven't receive any feed back on tire size dilemma. Thanks
Thanks, Vettehardt & Imo Apita, For further clarification, I'm not racing its just for street use only ( Radials). Any and all thoughts is apreciated, I have a little time before I pull the triger on buying some tires I just want to be patient on getting the right fit & look. Thanks again
I have 15x10 TTD's on the rear of my 69. I bought Mickey Thompson S/S Indy Profile N50s from Summit Racing. They also had wider M/T 15inch tires. The catalog said these were exclusive to Summit. So maybe they bought all that were left in the world. I like the way they look. Please post pics of both your cars, They sound Great!
I'm currently on Yokohama's, 235-60-15 but they've been off the market for a while.
These are the one's I'm eyeballing once it's time to swap the rears to 255 or maybe 275; http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...productID/8681
Maxxis seems to have the sizes we're looking for, unfortunately it sounds like you're rolling on a feminine hygiene product
So how's your traction in the wet? " Now worries, I got Maxxis....."
They do seem to be the only ones with a relatively high speed rating (H= 130mph) being an SUV tire.
Hankook makes the Ventus H101 street radial in 265 and 295/50-15. My dad just put a set on his car with flares and 10" wheels all the way around. It's a nice looking package and fits the flares very nicely. I haven't driven the car yet with these tires but I have to believe that they're better than the BFG radials.

69autoXr, do post up when you review those Hankooks. Your dad has one great looking shark! What are those wheels?
He may never let me drive the car again to be able to give you a review! The car was recently made-over with the flares and paint and looks the best it ever has. He's very proud of it and might not let me behind the wheel.
The wheels in that picture were bought off ebay and are 15x10 "Halibrand replica" as they are described. They are chinese made but are pretty nice and seem to be quality. (EDIT--here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDWhe...item35b22f2ae7)
He's using 15x10 TTII's with Hoosier 245 and 275/60 Street TD's for autocrossing.

Hey you guys, What a bunch of Out-Of-Site cars. Really nice modifications, I didn't realize there was this much modification going on with these babies.. I hear The Bats 13 talking about them. Have a great Summer. Gene
Argiris70, Thanks for your reply, Its not flares its unique wide body. I would need 275-50-15 on 15 x 10 wheels fronts and 295-345-50-15 rears on 15 x 12.
295 are really to small. There was a Pantera from Europe in a car magazine with in the last year that had 345-50-15 rear. I believe they where Pirellis. At the time I got a quote for them they where $600.00 plus a tire. I've kinda given up and bought a set of wheels and tires that are 17s. Thanks E.
