Well here we go the moment of truth will the headlights come up when turned on? After replacing the actuator all the lines the filter the check valve the springs the bushings and testing the vacuum tank for leaks replacing everything but the headlight vacuum relays the answer is no. The relays seem to be leaking from the bottom were the air filters should be. I do not know when the last time they did work it was many years ago for sure. Does this pretty much sound like they need replacing or is there something that I am missing that can revive these guys after they have sit for years.
Thanks for any suggestion
I noticed that the AIM shows the blue line running from the over ride valve to the port on the headlight switch closest to the headlight switch ****. The instructions that I followed from the vendor shows it going to the port on the headlight switch closest to the firewall. Which one is correct could this be the problem?
I think I may have discovered my mistake. The white line running from the top of the relays was connected to the wiper override instead of the headlight override. Can't test it tonight to late with open headers we will see what happens tomorrow.:bb
Well I corrected my line issue and the headlights came up real slow. I think I still have the relay issue. I may take a run at the rebuild in the link that 75 sent me.
