Comparable sound level to a flowmaster
Hi, Im just curious if any of the turbo style mufflers (borla, dynomax, etc) have a comparable sound level to a non-deltaflow flowmaster 40 series (2-chamber). Also, would they have a similar flow rate or are they more/less restrictive. I know this may sound weird but I want to try something (when and if I ever get my vette :rolleyes: ). Im thinking of running an x-pipe with a flowie and a different muffler... hoping it will give the exhaust a real unique sound. Would it be hard on the car if I can find mufflers that flow relatively the same? If they did flow differently, the x-pipe should help with the unequal backpressure right?

Oh, by the way, do any of you have sound clips of your exhaust? It would be nice to hear what all the different exhaust set ups sound like, prefferably with a small block, but you big block guys can post your sound files too of course :D
