Sure if I was made of money. This is not a B&M or a Holley, it's a Eaton/Magnuson it has an internal bypass and uses very little hp at cruise. I huge blower would require a complete new motor for me. Sure this is not going to make record boost levels, but as I said above I'm not planning to pound my chest and say I made 1 more pound of boost than so in so. If if made only 3 pounds of boost sure I might be a little disjointed but not totally. I've have over 100% volumetric efficiency and maybe a bit more. I think it would be a fun project and neat conversation piece and hopefully reliable since it's OEM stuff.
If I added 100 ft/lbs I'd be happy as a pig in ........

I totally agree. This is your car, and can do what you want with it. I think saving money, while making your car the way you want it is what it's all about. I don't care how much someone spends, or how much power they make, there is always something more expensive and faster. So good for ya! Doing what you want, and maybe helping others interested in the same thing. I'm lookin' forward to see how it turns out.

Yeah!! And I hate those C1 'vettes, get yourself a real 'vette, like a C3 steel bumper big-block!!!

See how it doesn't take much for this kind of attitude to become just plain uncalled for? C'mon, the guy wants to put a huffer on his 'vette, and he doesn't have a money tree growing out in the backyard, I think what he is trying to do is pretty cool!!!

To the OP: OK, OK, trips are out, how about a tbi setup? Hmmm? Hmmm? Hmmm? Here's a link you may find interesting, if ya like to search for junkyard gold.

That was a cool read. I once wanted to put TPI on it but I think it was just a bit too high in the front to clear the hood. Obviously this is not going to. When the money tree gets bigger I'd like to put a LS(?) in it. I put this motor in last summer. I almost had a free LS1, but just a bellhousing to go from LS to Muncie was over 500. Anyway Looks like I'm going to try this. It's costing about 500 for the blower. My friend works on turbo v8's all the time. He's going to help with the tune Don't worry I'll take pictures of the whole process.

Don't cut the hood till you try it.

No, not TPI, TBI--Throttle Body Injection. It's a GM fuel injection system that bolts to the top of an intake manifold, like a carburetor. It's only 2 venturis, and it could sit right on top of that oval shaped opening on the top of the blower. I don't know if it would flow enough to keep up with the blower, tho. But, according to that article in the link I posted, it can be done relatively cheap. Just kicking ideas around here, that's all.

TTT.

Hit the key and it started right up. I still have to make a throttle linkage and Boost reference the power valve, before I drive it. But everything I've done so far works. I'll get some pictures up and vids. I had a boost gauge on it and if surely does not seem like a slug when I blip it.

This I wanna see!! Love one off projects. Got any pictures yet? If your comp ratio was around 9:1, you should be able to handle 4lbs of boost easy if you keep the timing down a bit. Any amount of boost will add power as long as you're not spinning the blower past it's design speeds, creating too much heat..... Seems all of the modern applications of this type of blower in kit form use some type of innercooler...

I have a '58 hood that has an "air cleaner" hole cut in the middle of the fake louvers (I didn't do it). It's a freebie for you if you want it.
I'm in Deland Fl. Come to the Turkey Run in November and pick it up.
I'm 20 miles from there.
Enjoy
