Tall bigblock valve covers?
Hi guys, with this build we chose Harland Sharp roller rockers that require tall covers. This is for a 68 with power brake booster, What are you all using? Prefer aluminum, but chrome will work too. Customer wanted the ones with the big CHEVROLET script on them, but I don't know if they'll work.
Also what about the vacuum canister? Move it? Thanks,

I used Brodix tall covers on my NON PS big block '68 - I needed to trim the edge of drivers side bulkhead/brake box to clear cover - they cleared the bulkhead except in power/on - power off situations (engine movement under high torque conditions caused fouling)

Have you tried the double thick Fel-Pro gaskets? They did the trick for me with my Crower roller rockers. I'm running stock type covers but I ordered them w/o the drippers. There are no clearance issues inside or outside the covers.
Their covers are slightly taller than stock and are a bit more substantial than typical aluminum valve covers. They offer them in a wide variety of styles from as cast to polished and even powder coated.
I don't know about clearing the booster on a BB, but I have called them and talked to them about the SB valve covers and they were very helpful. I have a set installed on my '63 and have been very pleased with the quality.
I have the PML "Corvette" scripted valve covers on my BB and they fit great with the taller geometry roller rockers I used. Very thick flanges so they don't warp between the holes when you torque them down. The ones I chose do not have the brake booster dimple, I opted instead to use a remote electric brake booster which really cleans up the firewall.
